Eco-friendly Sanitary Pads Project by Anand Niketan Mehsana girls won the regional rounds at the CBSE All India Science Competition. The project will now be presented in national rounds in February 2018.
Our students Dhruvi Patel and Rajvi Patel, studying in 9th standard, innovated biodegradable eco-friendly sanitary pads, with the guidance from teachers Mrs Tapasya Brahmbhatt and Mr Johny Abraham, that can be used by women during their menstruation period to maintain hygiene. The science project was presented by the girls at the Regional Round of CBSE All India Science Competition held in Vadodara in December 2017.
The project won the regional 犀利士
rounds of CBSE National Level Science Competition and now it will be presented by the girls at the national rounds in February 2018.
We congratulate the girls, their parents, their teachers and all the well-wishers for making this project a HUGE success. The school has decided to develop this project as the round-the-year ongoing project, from now onwards every year, where the students will manufacture these eco-friendly sanitary pads with the help from the teachers and support from the school and distribute them to the poor women in government hospitals, NGOs, villages etc on a no-profit-no-loss basis.
